Our Evaluation Process
Evaluations are completed in a three step process:

Intake
We conduct an initial intake session to thoroughly examine current concerns, developmental history, family and social background, academic performance, and mental health history.

Standardized Testing
Together, we’ll complete standardized testing and rating scales to evaluate your overall mental health and cognitive function.

Feedback
We’ll schedule a feedback session to review our comprehensive evaluation and to discuss your diagnoses and recommendations.
Evidence-Based Therapy
We commonly treat anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and difficult relationships through the following modems:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
helps people to understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. This evidence-based treatment focuses on changing negative thought patterns to influence mood and behavior to treat issues like depression and anxiety.
Trauma-Focused
Cognitive behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
an evidence-based treatment that helps children and adolescents address the negative effects of trauma, including processing their traumatic memories and developing effective coping skills.
Dialectical Behavior
Therapy (DBT)
incorporates both acceptance and change strategies as an evidence-based treatment that teaches clients how to better manage distress, solve problems, improve interpersonal relationships, and cope in a healthy way.
