As a licensed psychologist and certified clinician in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. Chelsea Grefe McCann channels her natural empathy, leadership, and curiosity into data-informed treatment strategies.
A life-long distance runner, Dr. Grefe McCann applies her rigorous mental focus and endurance into tackling complex mental health issues with her clients—something that has sustained her through her entire career.
Dr. Grefe McCann has always sought out challenging opportunities and has extensive experience treating clients who present with mood concerns, behavioral problems, and trauma histories in school, outpatient, and hospital settings.
Dr. Grefe McCann earned her bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College and her Master of Science and Doctoral degrees from St. John’s University. Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, Dr. Grefe McCann worked as a school psychologist in Connecticut and staff psychologist at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Grefe McCann is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
As a member of the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), Dr. Grefe McCann practices telehealth outside of Pennsylvania in fellow states participating in the compact. She is also a National Registrar Health Service Psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
When Dr. Grefe McCann isn’t in the Waylight Psychological office, you’ll find her chasing after her kids, working in the local hospitals, and finding new eateries in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Cydney Quinn, a Duquesne University PhD graduate, has built a reputation as an outstanding diagnostician through her thoughtful, compassionate, and comprehensive approach to providing diagnostic clarity to new patients.
With experience working across a variety of settings—including school districts, law clinics, juvenile justice settings, medical organizations, and private practices—Dr. Quinn is skilled at navigating challenges with individuals from diverse backgrounds and mental health concerns.
Outside of the Waylight Psychological office, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband and two young children. She also has enjoyed teaching courses to doctoral-level students related to counseling, diagnostic testing, supervision, and personality disorders.
Dr. Marah Coleman Bockstoce is a licensed psychologist and mother who is deeply passionate about supporting parents as they navigate the complex and often stressful journey of raising children.
Dr. Bockstoce earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Education in Child Psychology, and Doctorate of Psychology in School Psychology from Duquesne University. Throughout her career, she has supported children, adults, and families across various settings, including public schools, inpatient hospitals, and private practices.
Dr. Bockstoce is delighted to join Waylight Psychological to provide virtual group therapy to parents and families. Drawing from her own experiences with motherhood and her extensive history of working with families, she provides compassionate, empowering care to those facing doubt and uncertainty. Her grounded approach incorporates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. She believes that the client is the expert in the therapeutic relationship; as a therapist, her role is to support and guide clients in reaching their goals.
Dr. Bockstoce is an active member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and Postpartum Support International (PSI). She is currently working toward her Perinatal Mental Health Certificate through PSI to further enhance her support for mothers and families.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Bockstoce enjoys hiking and camping with her husband, son, three dogs, and horse.
